More than 80% of the population suffers from a foot problem. They must support our body weight on a daily basis and are subjected to continuous attacks. It is not surprising that the pathologies that can affect them are frequent and diverse.
Even if they are not serious diseases (except in people with diabetes or circulatory problems), foot injuries can be very annoying, and can even deteriorate health and reduce our quality of life. In most cases, the adoption of a series of hygienic measures and the choice of suitable footwear can prevent or, in any case, alleviate many of these problems.
The foot bath stimulates blood circulation, eliminates sweat secretions and temporarily reduces bacterial infection.
A suitable shoe
Of vital importance is the choice of suitable footwear, since sometimes we are not aware of the complications that the use of ‘aesthetic’ footwear, although not very comfortable, can entail. In the case of women, it must be taken into account that footwear with excessive heels causes more intense pressure on the feet in the front part, and can lead to anatomical and functional alterations.
We have to choose shoes that are made of leather so that they allow the foot to breathe and that adapt perfectly to our last so that they do not squeeze or rub. Likewise, it is advisable not to wear the same footwear two days in a row and let it dry. Should be used natural fiber stockings or socks and change them daily since, in addition to impregnating the odor of our feet, they become stiff and cause chafing.
